A note from the founder

Neutral was never neutral.

A size label. A shade called nude. A standard that somehow always meant somebody else.

House of Moselle started with a simple conviction: you deserve to be considered from the beginning.

Why I built the house

The beginning

I was never
the problem.
Neither are you.

I was plus-sized before I knew the word. My feet outgrew the women’s aisle before the women’s aisle noticed. My ring size isn’t on the jeweler’s tester loop. The shade every counter called nude was somebody else’s skin. The products that made my siblings’ hair shine did nothing for mine.

The industry had one word for all of it: nonstandard. As if the standard were a fact of nature, and I was a rounding error.

House of Moselle exists to serve the people those standards leave out. The woman who needs a longer inseam. More room through the calf. A different undertone. A sleeve she can move in.

Across ages, sizes and stages of life, the question is the same: why should finding something that works require so much compromise?

What we’re here to do

Find what works.
Make room for what’s missing.

01 / The fitting room

See past the label.

We bring published measurements and swatch readings together so you can compare the details that matter to you. Sources and limitations stay beside the evidence.

02 / The first collection

Start with the women who will wear it.

We’re exploring a clothing collection shaped by real fit frustrations: coverage, sleeve room, waist placement and how fabric moves. Before deciding what to make, we’re listening.

How the house works

The source matters.
So does the distinction.

Claimed

What the brand publishes.

A size chart or published product measurement is a brand claim. It helps you compare, but it is not the same as the house measuring the garment.

Verified

What the house measures.

This label is reserved for measurements taken by the house under a stated protocol. We don’t turn an estimate or a swatch image into a verified measurement.

Worn

What someone experienced.

A wearer’s fit report adds useful context alongside their measurements. It is one person’s experience, not a guarantee of how a product will fit everyone.

Fit comes before commission. Some shopping links may earn the house a commission. That never determines match order.

Honest about what’s missing. Nail searches distinguish general size-chart references from confirmed product dimensions. Swim is searchable by published sizes and styles; measured-fit predictions remain paused. A gap deserves an explanation.

Your information

Your measurements.
Your choice.

Saving a measurement is optional. Joining the collection’s email list or fit panel is optional, too.

How measurements, searches and requests are handled

Saving a measurement is optional and stores it only in your browser. You can remove it with “Forget saved measurement.” Searches use the measurement you enter to find matches. We count completed searches and empty results by category and day without adding identities or body measurements to those counts; browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals opt out of these counts. Shopping links record anonymous clicks to help us understand which products are useful.

Catalog requests contain only the category, brand and size you choose to submit. Please do not include contact details or other personal information. Requests are visible only to the house and do not create a mailing subscription. To limit spam and password guessing, we briefly process the network address and store a keyed identifier that changes daily, rather than the address itself. These private limits expire within 24 hours and expired records are cleared when another protected request arrives. People sharing a network share a limit.
